John Pat Clements graduated from St. Joe Prep in 1955. He was a successful CPA. .  Pat was very successful in  other business ventures. He is a lifelong resident of Springfield, Ky. Pat was diagnosed with polio the summer before his senior year. He studied accounting at Ashland School of Commerce. He  started his own accounting business

He practiced accounting for 30 years. He and his brother started a small manufacturing plant in 1977 and sold it in 1998.

John retired in 1998, and "has not been worth a damn since".
