The late French Brantleys Father, Jim, owned Allen F1 and bred Roan Allen F38. James Brantley and his neighbor, A.M. Dement, bred most of the great horses that formed the nucleus of the Tennessee Walking Horse breed.
French Brantley rode Allen F1 to school and showed Roan Allen F38 successfully against the best horses of his day.

Ray Corum owned the late Merry Boy's F88 who was the closest link to Allen F1 until his death in 1990 at age 36. 
With the offspring of Merry Boy's F88 and other outstanding stock, 
Ray Corum Stables has determined that the Tennessee Walking Horse will continue to be the 
"Worlds Greatest 
Pleasure Horse".
