RICHARD
CYR is a well-known Singer Songwriter
among
the Native American people.
He is Qjibway - Anishinabe - Keepers of the
stories.
He has traveled much and far to spread his
messages to the Native People.
Richard is an accomplished guitar player and
composes songs with lyrics that touches hearts of many people, and appear
controversial to others. Richard’s music comes from his own live-experiences as
well as the lives of many other Native Americans that have asked him to tell
their stories. Richard has listened to many of the experiences and tragedies
that people relayed to him. This was done because the people knew that Richard
would not falter, would not mince words, would not attempted to white-wash, but
would tell it as it was told to him. He is a messenger for his people.
